Who Can Be Your Caregiver?

One of the biggest advantages of CDS is the ability to hire people you already know and trust—including family members.

  • Family members (spouse, adult children, siblings, etc.)
  • Friends and neighbors
  • Anyone 18 or older who passes a background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Cannot be your spouse if you're on certain waiver programs
